Fatwa
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
No doubt that Ramadan is a month of worship and repentance. So, respecting this month means keeping away from all nonsense be it said or done. All parts of the body should be protected from committing any kind of sins. The Muslim should behave himslef in the best way possible not only in this month but also throughout the whole year. But the Wisdom of Allah made some creatures preferable to others and sometimes preferable to others as He made some places holier than others. So, committing a sin in the preferable times or places is greater than in other times or places and performing good deeds is better rewarded in them than in others.
For this, we say to the person who keeps on saying bad words during this month, looking at forbidden things and watching pornographic films, stop this, repent to Allah and multiply doing good acts. Allah Says (interpretation of meaning): { And perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), at the two ends of the day and in some hours of the night [i.e. the five compulsory Salât (prayers)]. Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds (i.e. small sins). That is a reminder (an advice) for the mindful (those who accept advice).}[11: 114].
And the Prophet said: "And follow the bad act by a good one".
Allah knows best.
