41. Someone who looks after three or two daughters


Hadith 76


'Uqba ibn 'Amir   radiyallahu anhu  reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah,  Sallalahu aleihi wa say,

"If someone has three daughters and is patient with them and clothes them from his wealth, they will be a shield against the Fire for him."



Hadith 77

Ibn 'Abbas radiyallahu anhu  reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah,  Sallalahu aleihi wa say,

"There is no Muslim who has two daughters and takes good care of them but that he will enter the Garden."


Hadith 78

Jabir ibn 'Abdullah radiyallahu anhu  reported that the Messenger of Allah,  Sallalahu aleihi wa  said,

"Anyone who has three daughters and provides for them, clothes them and shows mercy to them will definitely enter the Garden."

A man from the people said, "And two daughters, Messenger of Allah?"

He Sallalahu aleihi wa  said, "And two."

42. Someone who looks after three sisters


Hadith 79

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri   radiyallahu anhu said that the Messenger of Allah, Sallalahu aleihi wa said,

"No one has three daughters or three sisters and is good to them but that he will enter the Garden."

43. The excellence of someone who looks after his daughter after she has been sent back home


Hadith 80

Musa ibn 'Ali  radiyallahu anhu reported that the Prophet,  Sallalahu aleihi wa , said,

"Shall I show you the greatest Sadaqah (or one of the greatest forms of Sadaqah)?"

He replied, "Yes, indeed, Messenger of Allah!"

He  Sallalahu aleihi wa  went on, "To provide for your daughter when she is returned to you and you are her sole source of provision."


Hadith 81

Suraqa ibn Ju'shum  radiyallahu anhu reported that the Messenger of Allah,  Sallalahu aleihi wa said the like of previous hadith.



Hadith 82

Al-Miqdam ibn Ma'dikarib  radiyallahu anhu heard the Messenger of Allah,  Sallalahu aleihi wa say,

"What you feed yourself is Sadaqah for you. What you feed your child is Sadaqah for you.What you feed your wife is Sadaqah is for you. What you feed your servant is Sadaqah for you."

44. Disliking for someone to hope for the death of daughters


Hadith 83

It is reported that there was a man who had daughters who was with Ibn 'Umar radiyallahu anhu  when he wished that his daughters were dead. Ibn 'Umar  radiyallahu anhu  became angry and said, "While you are providing for them!
