Final Thoughts
The Qur’an is a comprehensive book of Guidance and the Divine Eternal Speech of Allah. It is unique in its format, style, themes and layout but it is all done purposefully based on Divine Guidance. The Qur’an was not meant to be a storybook or something that one just reads from cover to cover without much thought. It was meant for those who ponder and reflect.
It is meant for those who realize that the different parts of the Qur’an are interconnected and explain each other, and so they recite its verses in light of other verses and Hadiths.
When one recites the Qur’an and ponders over its verses, their relationship and common themes, you will notice many connecting threads that the average person passes over. This short work was just an introduction to this field, and a comprehensive work on the themes of the Qur’an would be voluminous.
I pray that this short work served its purpose or enlightening the reader on the basic themes of the Qur’an and that the readers will take it further by reading the Qur’an in light of these themes and reflecting on its verses accordingly. I highly recommend reading a full length thematic Tafseer of the Qur’an, as there is so much to discuss which we could not cover in this short work.
We end by asking Allah to accept this work from us, make it a means of guidance and benefit for the Ummah, and add it to our scale of good deeds on the Last Day.
