Chapter 106

What should a Person say or do when he Eats but is not Satisfied

Hadith 743

Wahshi bin Harb radiyallahu anhu reported: Some of the Companions of The Messenger of Allah Sallalahu aleihi wa said: "We eat but are not satisfied.'' He Sallalahu aleihi wa said,

"Perhaps you eat separately.''

The Companions replied in affirmative. He Sallalahu aleihi wa   then said:

"Eat together and mention the Name of Allah over your food. It will be blessed for you.''
[Abu Dawud].
