A brief look at some of the points to be considered when making Dua:

1. Do a good deed before making Dua
2. Praise Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala
3. Repent and ask for forgiveness for your shortcomings
4. Send Salah and Salams on the Prophet (Sallallahu ‘Alayhi wa Sallam)  
5.Ask for Halal and permissible things
6. Don't be hasty
