Mursal a chain of narrators in which the Companion's name is not mentioned, in which a Tabi'i reports some saying or action of the Prophet Sallalahu aleihi wa such a narration is weak, since the Tabi'i could not have seen the Prophet Sallalahu aleihi wa himself.
