Partnership and Agency



904. Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu narrated that the Messenger of Allah Sallalahu aleihi wa said, "Allah, the Most High says, 'I am the third (partner) of two partners as long as one of them does not betray the other; if they betray (each other), I shall depart from them."Related by Abu Dawud Al-Hakim graded it as Sahih.

905. As-Sa'ib Al-Makhzumi radiyallahu anhu narrated that he was the partner of the Prophet Sallalahu aleihi wa before the Message. On the Day of the Conquest of Makkah, the Prophet Sallalahu aleihi wa said (to him), "Welcome my brother and my partner." Related by Ahmad, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah.

906. 'Abdullah Ibn Masud radiyallahu anhu narrated, 'Ammar, Sad and I agreed to become partners in whatever we obtained from the war booties on the Day of Badr," Related by An-Nasa'i.

907, Jabir bin 'Abdullah radiyallahu anhu narrated, 'I intended to go to Khaibar, so I went to the Prophet Sallalahu aleihi wa (to tell him) and he said to me, "If you meet my agent (who collects the Zakah property) at Khaibar, take fifteen Awsuq from him." Related by Abu Dawud who graded it as Sahih.

908. 'Urwah al-Bariqi radiyallahu anhu ) narrated that the Messenger of Allah Sallalahu aleihi wa gave him a Dinar to buy him a sacrificial animal or sheep (refer to hadith no. 839 Chapter 1.) Related by Al-Bukhari.

909. Abti Hurairah radiyallahu anhu narrated that the Messenger of Allah Sallalahu aleihi wa sent 'Umar radiyallahu anhu to collect the Zakah property.' Agreed upon.

910. Jabir bin 'Abdullah radiyallahu anhu narrated, 'The Messenger of Allah Sallalahu aleihi wa sacrificed sixty-three (camels)and ordered 'Ali to slaughter the rest (refer to hadith 760).' Related by Muslim.

911. Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu narrated with relevance to the story of the hired slave (who committed adultery with the wife of his master), "Go Unais to the wife of this (man, i.e. the master) and if she confesses (that she has committed adultery), then stone her to death.' Agreed upon.
