088 Question Two Cakean10

Makkah is the correct answer.

The Well of Zam zam (or Zamzam) is a well located within the Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, 20 m (66 ft) east of the Ka’bah, the holiest place in Islam. it is a miraculously source of water from Allah, which began thousands of years ago when Ibrāhīm (Alayhi Salam)  infant son  ʼIsmāʻīl (Alayhi Salam)  was thirsty and kept crying for water.

His mother Hagar ran seven times back and forth in the scorching heat between the two hills of Safa and Marwah, looking for water. Getting thirstier by the second, Ismail (Alayhi Salam)  scraped the land with his feet, where suddenly water sprang out. There are other versions of the story which state Allah sending his angel, Jibril (Alayhi Salam) , who kicked the ground with his heel and the water sprang forth.
