| Talbiyah - The du'aa or supplication that is said when one enters into Ihram: "Labbayk Allahumma labaik labayka laa shareeka laka labaik inalhamda wa ni'mata laka wal mulk laa shareeka lak." [I am responding to Your call Oh Allah, I respond to You and You have no partner, here I am responding to You. Verily all the praise and blessing is Yours and Sovereignty over all. There is no partner with You.] Talbiyah should be begun at the Miqat and continued until the pilgrim reaches the Ka'bah for the Mu'tamir (one is performing Umrah) or until casting the stones at the big Jamarah in Mina on the tenth of Hajj.(for the one performing Hajj) | |
