2011 Tawhid Camp Details

This year, the Tawhid Annual Family and Youth Summer Camp will be held in the beautiful historic Forest of Dean National Park at the border of England and Wales deep in the Gloucestershire countryside. Known for its breathtaking panoramic views over the hills, valleys and forest captured between 2 rivers the Wye and the Severn. This trip offers the best (and most fun!) ways to explore the areas surreal scenery, so leave your everyday hustle and bustle of city life behind and come together with other Muslims, join in a recreation weekend filled with activity, fun and adventure.

Date: Saturday 23rd July (11:30am) – Tuesday 26th July 2011 (5:30pm)

Invited Guest: Ustadh Farid Haibatan (Abu Safwan), Ustadh Shaqur Rehman and others

Venue: Forest of Dean National Park (Wales)

Transport: Coaches will leaving from the following venues:
1. London (Various)
2. Birmingham

More locations can be arranged subject to demand

Accomodation: Your ticket price includes standard accomodation in tents that cater for 3 - 8 people. All accomodation is segregated so women are expected to share with other women and men with men. Boys over the age of 8 will be expected to share with male relatives.

Women with young children have the option to opt for shared bunk house accomodation. Rooms are made of bunkbeds sleeping 4-10 people and places will be allocated on a first come basis.

Meals: Basic cooked meals and snacks will be provided throughout the camp.

Activities will include: Archery, Kayaking, Raft building, Abseiling & climbing (cliff face), Orienteering, Multi Activity Adventure Mission, Bridge Building, Islamic quizes, Practical First Aid courses, bushcraft and much much more....

Please note activities will be selected for different groups based on suitability and camp regulations.

PLACES ARE VERY LIMITED SO DON'T MISS OUT!
