Quba’- a place on the outskirts of Al-Al-Madinah. The Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam) built the first Masjid in Islam there, which bears the same name. A visit to that Masjid on Saturday forenoon and offering a two Rak’at Salah (prayer) is regarded as a performance of Umrah in reward according to a saying of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam).
