Hima - was a pre-Islamic institution by means of which the chief of the tribe took a pasture for his animals preventing others from grazing their animals in it while he himself could graze his animals in the others' pastures. Islam cancelled such an institution and allowed it only for grazing the animals collected as Zakat.
