With the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
1. Those who disbelieve from among the People of the scripture and Al-Mushrikuun were not going to leave (their disbelief) until their came to them clear evidence.
2. A Messenger from Allah, reciting purified pages.
3. Wherein are correct and straight laws from Allah.
4. And the People of the scripture differed not until after came to them clear evidence.
5. And the were commanded not, but that they should worship Allah, and worship none but Him Alone, and perform As-Salaat and give Zakaat, and that is the right religion.
6. Verily, those who disbelieve from among the People of the scripture and Al-Mushrikuun will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures.
7. Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, they are the best of creatures.
8. Their reward with their Lord is 'Adn Paradise, underneath which rivers flow. They will abide therein forever, Allah will be pleased with them, and they with Him. That is for him who fears his Lord.General Tafseer In this madinan sura, Lam ya kun or Al-bayyinah, Allah explains how the people of the divinely revealed scriptures divided and differed concerning that which He had intended in their scriptures. Allah commands us to make worship for Him alone. After this, Allah tells us the worst and best of creaures and their recompenses.
{May Allah make us among those who are the best of creation.}
