Jamarah or Jamrah - This refers to the three pillars located in Mina that are pelted by each pilgrim with seven tiny stones as a rite of Hajj. They represent the Shaitan and evil deeds that one tries his utmost to repel. The largest of them is called Jamaratul-'Aqabah. Pl, Jimar
