Fardh/Fard - An obligatory act, a must do act, for which one will be held responsible before Allah and liable for its commission or omission i.e. the five daily prayers, fasting in Ramadan, Hajj if able once in a lifetime. These acts are not open to interpretation, denying which leads to disbelief.
