We Reap what We Sow

The Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam) said:

“Whoever calls others to true guidance, will have a reward like that of those who follow him until the Day of Resurrection, without it detracting from their reward in the slightest. Whoever calls others to misguidance, will have a burden of sin like that of those who follow him until the Day of Resurrection, without it detracting from their burden in the slightest.”

And

“No person is killed unlawfully, but a share of the guilt will be upon the first son of Adam, because he was the first one to initiate the idea of killing another.”
(Al-Bukhari)

“When the son of Adam dies, all his deeds come to an end except three: knowledge which is beneficial to others, it righteous child who prays for him, or ongoing charity which he leaves behind.” (Muslim)

I ask Allah to make us from those who call to good and to make us knowledgeable about our religion, just as I ask Him to grant us success when we are calling others to Him. Indeed He is able to grant that and He is All-Powerful over that. May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala send peace and blessings upon Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam), his family and Companions. Ameen!
