"Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing.

Seigneur, accepte notre oeuvre. Toi qui entends et sais tout !

Rabbanâ taqabbal minnâ innaka anta s-samî'ul-l-'alîm

رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.

Seigneur, fais que nous soyons soumis à Ta volonté, fais que notre postérité soit un peuple résigné à Ta volonté, enseigne-nous les rites sacrés, et accepte notre repentir, car Tu aimes à agréer la pénitence et Tu es Miséricordieux !

Rabbaâ wa j'alnâ muslimîna laka wa min dhurriyyatinâ ummatan m-muslimatan l-laka wa arinâ manâsikanâ wa tub 'alaynâ innaka anta t-tawwâbu r-rahim

رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ

Qur'aan 2/128

Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

Seigneur, donne-nous une belle part dans ce monde et une belle part dans l'Autre, et préserve-nous du châtiment du feu !

Rabbanâ âtinâ fi d-dunyâ hassanatan w-wa fî-l-âkhirati hasanatan w-waqinâ 'adhâba n-nâr

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Qur'aan 2/201

Our Lord, pour upon us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.

Seigneur, arme-nous de patience, affermis nos pas et donne-nous la victoire sur ce peuple infidèle !


Rabbanâ afrigh 'alaynâ sabran w-wa thabbit aqdâmanâ wa nçurnâ 'alâ- l-qawmi-l-kâfirîn.

رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا
صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

Qur'aan 2/250

Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred.

Seigneur, ne nous punis pas pour des fautes commises par oubli ou par erreur !

Rabbanâ là tu'âkhidhnâ in n-nasînâ aw akhta'nâ.

رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا

Qur'aan 2/286

Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us.

Seigneur, ne nous impose pas le fardeau que Tu savais imposé à ceux qui ont vécu avant nous !


Rabbanâ wa là tahmil 'alaynâ isran kamâ hamaltahu 'alâ l-ladhîna min
qablinâ.
رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا

Qur'aan 2/286

Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.

Seigneur, ne nous charge pas de ce que nous ne pouvons supporter. Efface nos pêchés, pardonne les nous, aie pitié de nous ! Tu es notre Maître ! Donne-nous la victoire sur les infidèles !

Rabbanâ wa là tuhammilnâ ma là tâqata lanâ bihi wa 'fu 'annâ wa ghfir lanâ wa riJamnâ anta mawlânâ fa-nsurnâ 'alâ-l-qawmi-l-kâfirîn.

رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ ۖ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۚ أَنتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

Qur'aan 2/286

Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.

Seigneur ! ne fais pas dévier nos coeurs après que tu nous as guidés ! Accorde-nous Ta miséricorde, car Tu es le Dispensateur Suprême.


Rabbanâ là tuzigh qulûbanâ ba'da idh hadaytanâ wa hab lanâ min ladunka rahmatan innaka anta-l-wahhâb.

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ

Qur'aan 3/8

Our Lord, surely You will gather the people for a Day about which there is no doubt. Indeed, Allah does not fail in His promise.

Seigneur ! Tu rassembleras le genre humain dans un jour au sujet duquel il n'y a point de doute ! Certes, Allah ne manque point à Ses promesses !

Rabbanâ innaka jâmi'u n-nâsi li-yawmin l-lâ rayba fîhi inna l-lâha là yukhlifu-l-mî'âd.

رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِيَوْمٍ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ

Qur'aan 3/9

Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire!

Seigneur, nous avons cru ; pardonne-nous nos péchés et préserve-nous du châtiment feu !


Rabbanâ innanâ âmannâ fa-ghfir lanâ dhunûbanâ wa qinâ 'adhâba n-nâr.

رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Qur'aan 3/16

Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and have followed the messenger Jesus, so register us among the witnesses [to truth].

Seigneur, nous croyons à ce que Tu as révêlé, et nous suivons le Prohète ! Inscris-nous au nombre de ceux qui témoignent !

Rabbanâ âmannâ bi-mâ anzalta wa t-taba'nâ r-rasûla fa-ktubnâ ma'a-shâhidîn.

رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ

Qur'aan 3/53

"Our Lord, forgive us our sins and the excess [committed] in our affairs and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people."

Seigneur, pardonne-nous nos péchés et nos excès. Affermis nos pas et accorde-nous la victoire sur les infidèles !

Rabbanâ ghfir lanâ dhunûbanâ wa isrâfanâ fî amrinâ wa thabbit aqdâmanâ wa nsurnâ 'alâ-l-qawmi-l-kâfirîn.

رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

Qur'aan 3/147

"Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

Seigneur, Tu n'as pas créé tout cela en vain (l'univers) ! Gloire à Toi ! Préserve-nous du châtiment du Feu !

Rabbanâ ma khalaqta hâdhâ bâtila subhânaka fa-qinâ 'adhâba n-nâr.

رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَـٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Qur'aan 3/191

"Our Lord, indeed whoever You admit to the Fire - You have disgraced him, and for the wrongdoers there are no helpers.

Seigneur, celui que Tu précipites en enfer tombe dans l'ignominie, les pervers ne pourront compter sur aucun secours !

Rabbanâ innaka man tudkhili n-nâra fa-qad akhzaytahu wa ma li-z-zâlimîna min ansâr.

رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ مَن تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ ۖ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ

Qur'aan 3/192

15

"Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller calling to faith, [saying], 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed.

Seigneur, nous avons entendu l'homme qui appelait ; il nous appelait à la Foi, il criait : «Croyez en Dieu», et nous avons cru !

Rabbanâ innanâ sami'nâ munâdiyan y-yunâdî li-l-îmâni an âminû irabbikum fa-âmannâ


رَّبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلْإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا

Qur'aan 3/193

16

" Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds and cause us to die with the righteous.

Seigneur, pardonne-nous nos fautes, efface nos péchés, et fais que nous mourions avec les gens charitables.

Rabbanâ fa-ghfir lanâ dhunûbanâ wa kaffir 'annâ sayyi'âtinâ wa 'tawaffanâ ma'a-l-abrâr


رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِا

Qur'aan 3/193

17

" Our Lord, and grant us what You promised us through Your messengers and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not fail in [Your] promise."

Seigneur, donne-nous ce que Tu as promis par l'intermédiaire de Tes Messagers ! Fais que nous ne soyons pas humiliés au jour de la résurrection, Toi qui ne manques jamais à Tes promesses !

Rabbanâ wa âtinâ ma wa'adtanâ 'alâ rusulika wa là tukhzinâ yawma-l- qiyâmati innaka là tukhlifu-l-mî'âd

رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ

Qur'aan 3/194

18

"Our Lord, we have believed, so register us among the witnesses.

Seigneur, nous croyons ! Inscris-nous au nombre de ceux qui témoignent

Rabbanâ âmannâ fa-ktubnâ ma'a sh-shâhidîn

رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ

Qur'aan 5/83

19

"O Allah, our Lord, send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven to be for us a festival for the first of us and the last of us and a sign from You. And provide for us, and You are the best of providers.

Seigneur, fais-nous descendre une table du ciel ; qu'elle soit un festin pour le premier et le dernier d'entre nous, et un signe de Ta puissance ! Nourris-nous, car Tu es le meilleur nourisseur !

Rabbanâ anzil 'alaynâ mâ'idatan m-mina s-samâ'i takûnu lanâ 'îdan li-awwalinâ wa âkhirinâ wa âyatan m-minka wa rzuqnâ wa anta khayrur-râziqîn

رَبَّنَا أَنزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَائِدَةً مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيدًا لِّأَوَّلِنَا وَآخِرِنَا وَآيَةً مِّنكَ ۖ وَارْزُقْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ

Qur'aan 5/114

20

"Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers."

Seigneur, nous sommes coupables ! Si Tu ne nous pardonnes pas et si Tu n'as pas pitié de nous, nous sommes perdants !

Rabbanâ zaïamnâ anfusanâ wa in l-lam taghfir lanâ wa tarhamnâ la-nakûnanna mina-l-khâsirîn

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ

Qur'aan 7/23

21

"Our Lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people."

Seigneur, ne nous place pas avec les injustes !

Rabbanâ là taj'alnâ ma'a-l-qawmi z-zâhmîn

رَبَّنَا لَا تَجۡعَلۡنَا مَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Qur'aan 7/47

22

"Our Lord, decide between us and our people in truth, and You are the best of those who give decision."

Seigneur, tranche entre nous et notre peuple. Tu es le meilleur des arbitres

Rabbanâ ftah baynanâ wa bayna qawminâ bi-l-haqqî wa anta khayru-
l-fâtihîn

رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِحِينَ

Qur'aan 7/89

23

Our Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims [in submission to You]."

Seigneur, donne-nous la résignation et fais que nous mourions en croyants

Rabbanâ afrigh 'alaynâ sabran wa tawaffanâ muslimîn

رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ

Qur'aan 7/126

24

Our Lord, make us not [objects of] trial for the wrongdoing people And save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people."

Seigneur, ne nous laisse pas victimes de la tentation d'un peuple d'oppresseurs ! Par Ta miséricorde, protège-nous des infidèles !

Rabbanâ là taj'alnâ fitnatan l-li-l-qawmi z-zâlimîna wa najjinâ bi- rahmatika mina-l-qawmi-l-kâfirîn

رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

Qur'aan 10/85-86
