Surat-al-Zalzalah

إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا
وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا
وَقَالَ الْإِنسَانُ مَا لَهَا
يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا
بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَى لَهَا
يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِّيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ
فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ
وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ

1. When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake.
2. And when the earth throws out its burdens,
3. And man will say: "What is the matter with it?"
4. That Day it will declare its information (about all that happened over it of good or evil).
5. Because your Lord will inspire it.
6. That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds.
7. So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it.
8. And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it.

General Tafseer

This is a comprehensive surah equal to one-fourth of the Qur'aan as narrated in hadith. Allah Jallajalaluhu

informs us of the horrible earthquake that will cause the contents of the earth to come forth upon which man will be confused. Then we are informed again that whichever deed we commit (no matter how small) of good and bad will be seen that Day.
